In Firebird - Part 3/3, released in May 1996, the final chapter of the Firebird arc brings the story to a climax. In this concluding issue, Mulder and Scully are racing against time to solve the mystery of the Firebird before it causes more destruction. The supernatural fires that have been plaguing the area have escalated, and the agents are closing in on the true nature of the Firebird entity. Their investigation reveals the Firebird's origins and its connection to a powerful, ancient force or artifact that has been disturbed.
As the agents confront the entity, they uncover the motivations and backstory behind the Firebird's actions. The climax of the story involves a dramatic confrontation, where Mulder and Scully must use their wits and resourcefulness to prevent further chaos and bring the situation to a resolution.
