Gillian Anderson appeared this week on ITV1's This Morning show to talk about the movie "The Salt Path", directed by Marianne Elliott.
At the end of the interview, she was asked about the recent announcement that Ryan Coogler was about to reboot The X-Files as his next project after Sinners, which was just released in theater.
It seems evidently clear that Anderson will probably be a part of The X-Files reboot, even if only in a cameo.
This was her answer:
"I spoke to him and what I said was: if anyone were to do it, I think you are the perfect person and best of luck! At some point, if the phone rings and it's good and it feels like the right time, perhaps. That's what I said. But he's amazing."
