It's official, actress Gillian Anderson will be portraying British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher in the fourth season from the Netflix series [url=https://www.tvore.com/?page=series&id=61199]The Crown.
Gillian Anderson has appeared in another Netflix series this month, titled [url=http://sexeducation.tvore.com]Sex Education, which had great reviews and that we covered extensively.
Filming of the 4th season will start in the Summer.
For those who are not aware, The Crown is a series telling the story of Queen Elisabeth II. The series is intended to have sixty episodes in total over six seasons, with ten one-hour episodes per season, covering Elizabeth's life from her younger years to her reign, and with new actors being cast every two seasons.

Personally, I absolutely love The Crown series and I literally cannot wait to see Gillian Anderson in it. I think the series is brilliant. The casting is always top notch, the cinematography, the music, the dialogue. Of course, it's probably quite over-dramatized, but I really love it.
As an anecdote, in case you would not be aware of Gillian's personal life—not that it matters—but Gillian's boyfriend is the creator of the series The Crown. Also, it truly feels odd to imagine her as Margaret Thatcher, but I trust her, that woman is a goddess and can play anyone. I'm sure she'll do a stupendous job, as Mr. Yappi would say.
