How big of a part of The X-Files will Agents Miller and Einstein play in Season 11? How about our beloved Skinner? While we can't know all the answers yet, IMDb provides some clues based on the listing of the cast and crew by episode. So far it is listing some information on the first 6 episodes.
Episode 1 appears to be a who's who of familiar faces. David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson are in every episode, but also in episode one is Lauren Ambrose as Einstein, Robbie Amell as Miller, William B. Davis as the cigarette smoking man, Annabeth Gish as Monica Reyes. Chris Owens as Jeffrey Spender, and Mitch Pileggi as Walter Skinner. They are joined by Barbara Hershey.
In the next five episodes, IMDb lists from the first episode only Duchovny, Anderson and Pileggi returning. Pileggi is listed as being in four out of the six first episodes of season 11. Episode 2 is notable for Dean Haglund returning as Langly of the Lone Gunmen. Episode five features three characters with the last name of Van de Kamp played by Robyn Bradley (Mrs. Van de Kamp), Chanelle Peloso (Emily) and Miles Robbins (Jackson).
