I would like to share that I just love the ending of the episode Fallen Angel from season one. There are two scenes in this great ending, first, the one where FBI Special Agent Fox Mulder gets screamed at by the FBI Senior Executive, Section Chief McGrath:
Fox Mulder: Then what can I say? How can I disprove lies that are stamped with an official seal?
Section Chief McGrath: That will be all, Mr. Mulder.
Mulder: You can deny all the things I've seen, all the things I've discovered, but not for much longer because too many others know what's happening out there. And no one, no government agency, has jurisdiction over the truth.
It just embodies everything about the character. I find this scene truly magnificent. Everything is simply perfect in this scene. What an incredible ending of the episode. It is also by far, for me at least, the best speech from Fox Mulder throughout the series.
Also, I find that David Duchovny is just acting perfectly. He truly embodies his character. You simply cannot root for him in this scene, especially after the emotional journey with Max Fenig.
