Rank the seasons

Hi everyone,

If you had to rank the seasons from The X-Files, what would it be?

For me, I think I'd say:
1. Season 3 (6.29)
2. Season 2 (6.08)
3. Season 1 (6.00)
4. Season 4 (5.58)
5. Season 5 (4.55)
6. Season 6 (4.45)
7. Season 7 (4.09)
8. Season 8 (3.59)
9. Season 10 (3.43)
10. Season 9 (2.79)

How about you?

I know it's almost impossible to do, but I think it's super fun :) I might probably update the list as we go along and as the eleventh season gets released. Wha is certain is that the top three are seasons 1, 2 and 3, which are classic to me. Season 4 and 5 were already in a semi-autopilot mode. Then the rest changed everything and rarely for the better. Starting a series with no romance between the characters in raincouver and finishing with kisses in LA. What a sell-out.

Since I've only watched from 3 onward (working on season 1 -- saw one episode back in the day via VHS, Ice).

For me I highly enjoyed seasons 4 and 8, so they're at the top.
