You know, most episodes are either great or terrible from the very beginning. This episode is great from its first shot. At least Darin Morgan understands the series and treat the characters with respect.
The moment I loved the most was when Guy Mann starts his monologue on the purpose of life. This is truly genius and, for once, you really think while watching the episode. About life, death, your own life, your own death. All of this in a "funny" episode, how cool is that?
Also, the moment when Rhys Darby (Guy Mann) delivers the "Daggooooo!" line was perfect!
Oh, and the line in the smartphone shop cracks me up! "Guy Mann: Now, this model comes with 3,000 gigabertz of pixelbits."
And the last scene with Mulder staying there in the forest was also beautiful.

Overall, while I find the episode a bit too far into the fan service (red speedo, "I'm eternal, remember?", etc.), I really enjoyed it a lot.

Exactly. It's why I like most of the episode. He got it. Liked Guy Mann ok (minus one scene...) and I liked most of the humor.
